Self-exaltation through the indulgence of the pride of life, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes glorifies and enthrones Satan within the heart of man whereas the humility of self-denial liberates the heart and glorifies and enthrones the God of the cross
This is why the cross is not preached in most churches because the god of this world who rules the desires of the flesh has infiltrated and corrupted their doctrines through self-desire and many justify and disquises their greed through a deceptive fleshly gospel of prosperity and self-indulgence.
Lust is a bottomless abyss that can never be filled.
Why would we want to hold on to the things that Satan uses to destroy us and the things that produces spiritual death? Why would we want to keep pursuing the temporary things through which we accomplish nothing and destroy our eternal goal? The call through the cross is a call of repentance to turn away from fleshly things and come back to God.
[reject Satan] and put on the lord Jesus Christ making no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts; Romans 13:14. The human body is not for immorality but for the Lord, and the lord is for the body; 1 Cor 6:13. Escape the corruption that is in the world through lust by partaking of the divine nature of Jesus Christ; 2 peter 1:4. I urge you to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against your soul [in order to corrupt and enslave you soul] 1 Peter 2:11. When lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death; James 1:15. The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord [who came to save us from our sins] Romans 6:23.

Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus, and I ask you to give me discernment to recognize the spirits of Jezebel, Ahab, false prophets, eunuchs, and Jezebel’s spiritual children influencing my life.
I repent, Lord, for aligning my heart with the spirit of this world that has distracted me from Your voice and Your love and allowed these spirits to work against Your purpose in my life.
I break agreement with every spirit that is not of You, right now, in Your name. Please help me not to make snap judgments about spiritual warfare, but to discern the enemy’s plot against me so that I can bind these assignments and walk free from the temptations Jezebel uses to capture my attention.
Give me a fresh revelation of my position and authority in Christ, His love for me, His spiritual armor, His blood, and His will. By Your grace, I commit to preserving my heart from the seducing, idolatrous, immoral agenda that Jezebel is forwarding in this age. Amen.
